Founded in Yerevan in 2026, Arpenik Jewelry House creates collections of fine jewelry and accessories infused with deep meaning and designed to express individual identity. Each creation speaks through the distinctive language of Armenian culture, architecture, and nature.
The brand is named after the founder’s grandmother, Arpenik - a name that means “sun” in Armenian. Grandmother Arpenik was a lighting design engineer, a rare choice of profession for a woman in Soviet Armenia, but one driven by pure passion. For her, jewelry was far more than mere decoration; every piece carried a distinct purpose. One gave her strength, another embraced her femininity, while another radiated warmth and light. She possessed an intuitive grace for feeling the quiet stories and subtle meanings hidden within each jewel.
Far more than just a name, the sun forms the foundation of the brand’s identity. It is a timeless symbol that transcends borders and languages, yet holds a deeply personal meaning within Armenia’s cultural landscape. Narine, the founder of the Arpenik Jewelry House, was born and raised in Armenia. The brand stands as a natural extension of her personal story - one woven from several family lineages: her grandmother Arpenik, a Soviet engineer, and her three maternal grandmothers, three sisters who carried the quiet strength, soul, and spirit of the Armenian people throughout their lives. Today, each collection bears the name of one of these grandmothers, ensuring every piece continues a story that began long before Narine was born.
